AC Cap?

I hear this often in game, that there is an ac softcap with diminishing returns. Has anyone ever seen parses for anyone other than tanks? I know that from 1000ac to 2400 I felt a difference, now at around 3600 ac I see a difference. I still can't tank a named in say old field of scale, but I have managed to tank nameds in beza instances with me healing myself and a cleric merc (wizard nuking down, me dotting to hold aggro). It wasn't pretty, but it we did it. I'm thinking with the new ranks of defensive it will be even better. So do we indeed have a softcap? If so what is it?

I know it changed around SoF and the overcap return is about .17. I believe the softcap is around 700 or so, but it does go up every 5 levels so maybe around 720 at 85?
So regardless, the return on AC you are seeing has been the same for a long time.

AC softcap with no CS aa is 610worn(add up the raw ac on gear to find this number). believe CS totaled plus Phys enhancement grants a 52% total mod knocking the softcap to about 927.2. After that approximate return per point of AC is about 35% so every 3 points post soft cap equal 1 ac. AC on shield(secondaries with ac count normal unless flagged shield) adds to the softcap. So with a 100 ac shield with max defensives worn softcap would be 1027.

Can't remember if we got 5 more ranks in SOD but if so it should be 57% mod. for about 957.7 worn ac allowed.
