I'm not sure how many people are interested in stuff like this but I find it to help make events very easy, and a far as Xalp goes it, looks like a very solid parser. This program I believe should handle DoTs and pets nicely.
For parsing I use it mainly for audio triggers
Aelfin Has it posted on a few other sites to but didn't see it as a main post here. Just sorta mentioned a few places.
Tango v0.3.1
What is it?
Tango is a file watcher that can monitor your EQ log file for keywords/phrases/patterns. Tango is similar to EQ's audio triggers with several key differences:
* Tango uses regular expressions to define search expressions allowing for wildcards, backreferences and substitution in what it speaks.
* Tango uses speech instead of sound files to notify you when a search expression is matched.
* Keywords/phrases/patterns can be temporarily added on the fly by other people (raid leader) to all users of Tango at once.
Features
* Monitor log file while playing EQ
* Less overhead while monitoring than previous versions
* Parse files offline
* Uses configurable regular expressions
* Trigger phrase can result in speech, sound files, alarms, counters or a combination
* Controllable from within EQ
* Easier to configure than previous versions
* Voice can be disabled
* Detailed combat stats including melee/non-melee/spellcasting/discs
* Pet, Warder, Ward, Familiar auto assigned to owner
* Assign any other pet (or release pets)
* Top 15 Damage/DPS copied to clipboard, easily pasteable into EQ
* Configurable fight timeouts for group or raid
* Output to HTML, XML, Text
Use
To use Tango, you must have at least Windows XP/Vista and .NET 2.0 installed and logging turned on in Everquest.
The .NET 2.0 Framework can be downloaded here (Note: Vista comes with 2.0 pre-installed):
* .NET 2.0 Framework, 32 bit or
* .NET 2.0 Framework, 64 bit
Tango uses MS SAPI for speech. To control various aspects of the voice use Start->Control Panel->Speech. XP/Vista come with SAPI with one voice. You should not need to download anything extra. If interested, more voices can be found at MS SAPI or NextUp.com<.
Setup
Once downloaded, unzip Tango into its own directory. Double click the Tango.exe file to run Tango. Use the Tools menu to configure options. At a minimum, set the 'Self' option to your game name to ensure that YOU/YOUR log entries are parsed correctly.
Output Examples
* HTML
