Here's what I run with now:



Yellow casts that spell, blue announces in raid and/or debuff, green announces in group. Since my pet window has only buffs, I use two slots for /pet attack and /pet back off. Hmm, upgraded clicky dot pants to DoN drop pants, no more clicky... I've promoted Designate Main Assist to where the pants are since that screenshot.

In other MMORPG (*cough* WoW *cough*) when you have more then one ability listed in a macro it uses the refresh time for the first one listed.

In WoW you can't actually cast more then one spell per hardware event (keypress), but you can attempt to cast more then one thing. If the first one is not available because of a timer, it will still try to cast the others.

Anyway, I would be very happy with the button taking on the refresh properties of the first spell/ability listed in EQ. Maybe add a checkbox in the macro button interface to enable/disable this feature so people that don't want it aren't forced into it.
