What to Look for in a Flat Screen...?

Monitors are kind of a personal thing, what looks good to me might be horrible for you. That said we've been buying a lot of these (2007FPW )for work are people are really crazy about them:

The refresh rate is posted at 16ms so not sure how good for gaming even if the blurb says it's good for it. It has PiP so you can watch TV while you sit at that boring camp or run two computers off it.

I did alot of research into this when I got sick of my CRT stealing my desk space and went with a LG monitor. Here's the best buy speach on it, although i'd never buy one from there:

While I question the 2ms Response time it's worked well for me with a DVI connection for EQ, FPS like Halflife 2, and a assortment of other non optimized games like Cronicles of Riddick. WIth rebates I picked this up for $299

I'd also like to say that i'm a freak when it comes to Options in the monitors control panel and this little guy was the best I found.

I use 3 samsung flat pannel monitors and one NEC, 2 19" and 2 15"

I love my samsung flat pannels, they're probably the best value for price montiors on the market for LCD screens. (my silver 19 inch is an LCD TV as well, with picture in picture capability)

Seen nothing but great reviews on it, it's on the pricey side though. Can't wait to see it in action. =D

From what I've read it does not ghost much.




I'm just a bit worried my graphics card wont be able to handle the resolution. =p
