When you say "link to magelo" are you talking about just trying to go to the site with a browser?

If so, the only thing I've ever heard that will cause your browser to start popping up download windows, and/or redirecting you to odd sites, is spyware/adware.

I did not get any replies to my last post after trying the suggestions give, so I will repeat my request for help. I appreciate all of the help I have received and the time people take to read my posts.

"I went to the advanced part of internet options and tried to click on Http1.1. I hit apply but after I closed that window and I reopened it again the Http 1.1 is unchecked. The proxy will stay checked but the 1.1 will not. I do have norton but when I disable the autoprotect nothing changes. I went to proxify and was able to get to magelo. Unfortunately I can not log on using that method unless I wish to subscribe for 40 dollars. I am assuming some program has changed my settings and will not allow me to turn it back on. Cybersitter was recently installed but I have it inactivated when I am trying to access magelo. Thanks for your replies."
