Posted: Mon Aug 22, 2005 7:26 pmIn high school, I didn't WANT to take typing. I was trying to get a county scholarship and one of the requirements was a "vocational" course. I could have taken typing, bookkeeping, masonry (no joke!). I finally decided on typing and that was one of the BEST decisons ever. I can't think of any other skill/knowledge I learned in high school that I use extensively every day. Knowing Avogadro's Number is 6.022 x 10 to the 23rd has not been NEARLY so helpful.
