The Alchemy skill cap still 300? The new potions top trival is 466.

Yes triv 466 for a DS potion, while the listed type XI-XIII FT, HOT, and heal potions were dropped... I am so excited..not!

Crack potions where never planned for upgrades.

Speaking of going thru the hassels skilling up to 300 and do the GM trophy and spending the points on AAs.....

A friend was asking me what is really worth making when i max my skill eventually.... does anyone got a good recommendation?

Damage Shield, Healing, HoT. Buff Extension, Debuff Extension. <resist> mana reduction, beneficial mana reduction.

I make and use all of the above.

Not to nitpick, but the "new potions top trivial is" 560. . Yes, the failure rate is as depressing as you imagine.

I'll make heal pots, HoT, mana reduction potions then! These sounds great to make....

Anyway.. my skill level is 250 now.. and i have collected alot of Versluierd Fungus, Lucidem, Curzon, Urticaceae, Aderirse bur... and also sunshard powder and chronal resonance dust along the way while hunting. Have my necessary AAs for alchemy and salvage too. Occasionally i will buy nodding blue lily in baz... My question is that is it just me or anyone here also same that you'll just use the above mentioned herb to skill up to 300 though the trival for them is far beyond 300?

I feel sick now farming for goblin blood and those robust shadow essence....

Save the chronal resonance dust for when you are 300 IMO. Use the rest to skill up on.

Versluierd Fungus makes Tonic of Regeneration Affinity V, Sunshard Powder makes Tonic of Efficiency Affinity VI - those are the functional potions at 85. Chronal Resonance Dust makes the level XIV Distillates.

The right thing to skill up on is still Nodding Blue Lillies, making Alacrity potions

Oh dear. Ok.... I have been topping up my bank with the powders and dusts. Been trying to explore a bit on Versluierd Fungus and seems alot of failure.. and the herbs aren't cheap! Nearly fainted when i clicked bought 100.. hahahaha.

Anyone tried making Tonic of Regeneration Affinity VIII yet? The last one that uses chronal dust.
I am trying to make it but it doens't combine at all. Does anyone know what's wrong?

Your question is pointless without specifics. 99.9% guaranteed user error, but we can't tell you where that is unless you say what you're actually doing.

There is a book you can purchase in the POK that will explain all new recipes for you. I believe you can derive that answer through that if you choose to do so. The name escapes me atm and I am not in the mood to look it up lol.

Really dont know whats wrong already. Thats why wanna ask if anyone tried doing this potion yet and successfully.

No, it means you need to be specific. Open up EQ and type over here exactly what ingredients you're trying to combine.

Components in a foldable medicine bag..

1) Bundle of Briar Thistle
2) Bundle of Marsh Algae (2)
3) Chronal Infused Potion Vial
4) Chronal Resonance Dust
5) Infused Larkspur
6) Pickleberry Extract

Followed the above exactly whats been listed in EQTC... but still i got the message 'You cannot combine the items in this container type'.

I have tried using a normal medicine bag and still can't combine.
