Asked Mae about this, although she's not a Dev, she has some information regarding.

Since Alchemy had recently recieved a revamp it was decided that no new alchemy would be in this expansion.

Regarding "PoK" pots, entirely speculating that there will be a 70-75 "PoK" pot, with recipe coming in after the pots are in place.

Will there be "XI" versions for level 75?

The revamped throwing potions as currently coded don't land on mobs somewhat higher than the potion level although that behavior may change with the new resist coding.

Ther is an Essence of Drakkin potion live. The recipie is already in your bag at 300 skill.

cool, but there's also a task you can do in Blight moors for a 10 shot illusion potion.

In the moores, there is assistant avellone. He is in a camp of a bunch of quest givers in the SE side of the zone, in the middle of a small swamp. about - 200 - 1700.

Talk to him. Get his quest (The Jokes on You).

Zone to the stone hive. Go up. Find the camoflauged elevator.

Find room. Kill bixies. Get a clue. Kill bixie. Win.

OW...zone into Stone Hive. Go to the big hive in the middle, invised. Go up the stairs, and find the room with a circle disk in the back of it. (Looks like it has an umbrella holder on it to the side.) Stand on it, look down, and click on it. It is the elevator. Go up to the top, come off the elevator and run back to the right to the prison area. Find Slavemistress Hizja and kill her. Loot the "Imposters Clue" and A Caged Drakkin will attack you. Kill her and you win.

one of the rewards is a 10 shot potion.

total quest takes about 10 minutes.

I got a ton of Drakkin parts in Direwind a couple days ago. They were not, however, marked as tradeskill so I sold them before a guildie told me they can be used for illusion pots.

Needless to say I was rather upset.

Drakkin parts drop so commonly that you don't have much to worry about. I did the same thing, sold them when I saw they had no tradeskill tag attached to them. The next day while getting some guildmates the Ashengate Seal, a few hours in Direwild and I had another two stacks.
