I totally agree. The difficulty of producing these potions does not pass the laugh test. In fact, it is sort of a slap in the face considering that Cloudy Potions are cheaper, stackable and vendor purchased easily in PoK. Plus, the fact that Cloudy Potions are just regular Invis is next to meaningless given that they are Instant cast. They are essentially the same as an improved invis for any decent player paying attention.

We can go to Seb and farm 40 lilies in a reasonable amount of time, allowing us to make Clarity Pots, etc.

But, to make an improved invis potion, we have to go to one of the least desirable zones in the game, and farm a rare item that takes an inordinate amount of time to stock up on.

For years Alchemy has been the red-headed step child of tradeskills. I recall last year when we were promised that we would be getting an Improved Invis potion to make that would not be next to insane to produce for our guilds/friends etc. From my perspective, we're still waiting...

I have been doing it based on level of the mob, not class (class is not important to me for this)

By expanding the level of mobs it drops from, it will be hitting other "classes" of the mob.

The level range WAS 55 to 60

I expanded it to 53 to 60

To check I did 3 full re-spawns of ssra. Where you see "re-pop" is where I made all current mobs go away then come back "randomly" (as they normally would over the course of being killed by players) I only cut out a few things that would give away the commands (not that you can use them... but no reason to put them out there either)

har, about 1/4th of those are guards in raid encounters It's all good, I agree that fixed invis potions should be rare, but that's pretty funny!

I don't think the situation is all that bad. Anyone who really really wants fixed invis can buy summoned stones from a magician. Woot for class interdependence and such. Non-no rent potions are powerful novelty, imo. It's fine that they're very rare. I think the exceptional[ly rare] bloods are more a problem on silly things like group shrink.
