ill still be mainly farming for immun10 pots, mainly because of the total disease counters on AMV. only has 14 counters and can be cured by a lower lvl potion....BUT has 30 disease counters and commonnly lands so that it blocks curing of DT mark. if this lands at all before DT and your not equipt to remove 44 counters (irronically thats immun10) then your still screwed. of course since touch of anguish takes 30, its going to eat up 3 layers of cures and leave the DT mark anyways now that i think about it...grrr
well the changes are still a huge improvement from what it is now, making the potion usable in many other situations

Well, a beneficial change as far as the immunization X potions are concerned, would be to change the yield rate on the shards of ro refinement process. Make the yield 6 or 8 powders instead of 2 - maybe add another vendor purchased reagent that increases the yield. Net result, you don't have to dramatically increase the shards of ro drop rate and your 200pp to 500pp purchase in the bazaar (if buying the shards) will then yield 6 to 8 potions rather than 2. Just an idea for making these potions more viable to produce in some quantity.

the recast of 60 seconds is still too long and Ungkor is right if they arent easy to mke in volume then they arent gonna be made. Alchemy potions are for consumption if the potions are so rare that you cannot have them to consume on a regular basis then people dont ever think about them unless the effect is large enough to warrant it.
When you think drop rates think NBGs from seb in terms of drop rate and ease of farming and you will strike the right balance IMO. 2-4 hours for 4-5 stacks yielding 5x that in potions

Thought I was going crazy when I didnt get a patch message upon login this morning. Guess it just got delayed by a day.
All EverQuest servers will be coming down at 4:00 AM PST (-8 UTC) on Wednesday 3/15/2006 for an update. Estimated downtime is 4 hours.

so did they fix the Kilva's potions to do the same damage they were PRIOR to the alchemy fix/nerf? I have 5 stacks in my inventory and they have been nerfed badly from what they were doing before. Fix the old stuff that was made prior.

well you really dont need 2 10 dose potions for a raid any more, since theres a 1 minute recast. 5-7 doses is enough for each person not in a shaman's group and without a shield of the immaculate. ive already came to the conclusion its far easier to farm that shield in hate than it would be to attempt in stocking a raid with potions

That's not surprising, as Maddoc posted earlier - the drop rate did not change in the March 14 patch (it is scheduled for a future patch). Maybe wait until the drop rate changes before seeing if any more are available for sale?

That could simply be because the prices are reasonable enough that people are buying them now
